P. Whitney Lackenbauer

P. Whitney Lackenbauer (born October 1974 in Kitchener , Ontario ) is a modern Canadian historian.

Life

Lackenbauer grew up in Kitchener and attended the University of St. Jerome's College (affiliated with the University of Waterloo ). He studied history at the University of Calgary , where he received his PhD in 2004. He has taught history at St. Jerome's University in Waterloo , Ontario since 2008 , which he appointed professor in 2014. The Canadian Rangers made him an honorary lieutenant.

His wife Jennifer holds a BA in Political Science from Carleton University and an M.Sc. in spatial planning from the University of Guelph . They have three sons and live in Otterville .
