PANCH - Performance Art Network CH is a trade association for performers and performance artists in Switzerland . The members are committed to making contemporary performance art visible in Switzerland, addressing performance issues, organizing and reflecting on events in Switzerland and bundling them on their internet platform.

history

In 2013, during their “Council” event , Chris Regn and Andrea Saemann asked actors from the Swiss performance scene about their sensitivities and needs, and based this on a report that they presented at performance festivals in Basel , Geneva and Bern .

In October 2013, a loose group of performance artists decided, because of the urgency of the matter, to found the performance network Switzerland and in 2014 invited to five network meetings, from which various projects were initiated. As organizational foundation was established in November 2014 the club "PANCH - Performance Art Network CH" was founded.

The founding crew are Angela Hausheer, Andrea Saemann, Christine Bänninger, Chris Regn, Dorothea Rust , Dorothea Schürch , Dominik Lipp, Franziska Bieri, Gisela Hochuli , Juerg Luedi, Judith Huber , Klara Schilliger, Monica Klingler , Mirzlekid (Hansjörg Pfister-Köfler), Margarit von Büren and Pascale Grau .
