LEDA / PGC 61102 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sdm in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky , an estimated 147 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center. She is considered a member of the six galaxies counting NGC 6500 group ( LGG 414 ).

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6490 , NGC 6495 , NGC 6500 , NGC 6501 .

The Type II supernova SN 2014ay was observed here.
