Pablo Caballero , full name Pablo Eduardo Caballero Sebastiani (born November 21, 1987 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The midfielder , who is 1.80 meters tall, according to his club, began his career in 2006 at the then second division club Atlético Cerro . In the first season he rose with his club in 2007 and played for the Montevideans until 2011 in the Primera División . Since the second half of the 2007/08 season to the 2011 Clausura , he has recorded 94 and 16 goals in the first division. The most successful period of his club membership then began with the 2008/09 season, when they finished third in the final table. They won the Copa Artigas 2009 (Liguilla Pre Libertadores 2009; Caballeros record: nine games, two goals) and thus qualified for the international competition of the Copa Libertadores , in which "Ardilla" Caballero played six games and scored one goal. In the Torneo Clausura 2010 they even became runner-up. In mid-2011 he moved to league rivals Defensor Sporting within the city . However, after just one season and only five missions, he returned to Cerro in 2012. There he made 29 league appearances in the 2012/13 season and scored seven goals. (Status: May 18, 2013) For the 2013/14 season, his move to Italy for a year on loan to Reggina Calcio was announced. For the Italians it was (a goal) in two matches Coppa Italia and four times in the Series B used. In January 2014 he returned to Cerro and completed seven first division games there in the Clausura 2014 (no goal). In the 2014/15 season he came ten times (no goal) in the Primera División to train. In mid-January 2015 he switched to Independiente del Valle on loan to Ecuador and signed a contract for one season. There he played in 36 league games (nine goals) and two games (no goal) of the 2015 Copa Libertadores . After Caballero initially returned to Cerro after the loan ended in January 2016, the Racing Club signed him in early February 2016 . In the 2016 Clausura, he played twelve first division games for the Montevideans and scored twice in the opposing goal. At the end of July 2016, he moved again to Club Atlético Cerro, for which he played 14 first division games (three goals) in the 2016 season. From the beginning of 2017 he continued his career at Murciélagos FC . The Mexicans have used him three times (no goal) in the league so far (as of January 22, 2017).
