Pablo Míguez , full name Pablo Nicolás Míguez Farre , (born June 19, 1987 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, the midfielder Míguez, who is 1.83 meters tall, made his debut in the Clausura 2008 with Danubio in the Primera División . In that half series he played in eleven first division games and scored two goals. In the three following seasons he was still active for the Montevideans and played in the three seasons 25 (2008/09), 27 (2009/10) and 28 (2010/11) games, scoring one, two and three goals. He also came into play in two matches of the Liguilla Pre Libertadores 2009 . He then joined the Argentinian club Unión de Santa Fe on loan . There he completed 41 league games in the two following seasons, but remained without a personal goal. For the 2013/14 season he returned to Danubio. There he came in the current season until the end of the Apertura to 13 further premier league appearances (932 minutes). His team won the 2013 Apertura as first in the table. He then moved to Peru . There he was introduced to Alianza Lima on January 4, 2014 as a new addition to the team trained by his compatriot Guillermo Sanguinetti . For the Peruvians, he played 46 games in the Primera División and scored eight goals. He was also used once (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2014 and twice (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2015 . In the national cup competition, the Copa Inca , he contributed twelve games and two goals to his club's title win in 2014. In 2015, his team took 2nd place in this competition. Míguez ran nine times (no goal). In January 2016 he moved to the Argentine first division club Olimpo and played a game (no goal) in the Copa Argentina 16 first division games for the Argentines , in which he scored a personal goal. He left the club in mid-June 2016 to join Puebla FC in Mexico. So far (as of March 4, 2017) he played for the Mexicans in 20 first division games (two goals) and six games (no goal) of the Copa México .
