Paint Rock is the district capital and the county seat of Concho County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

The city is located a little west of the geographic center of Texas, at the intersection of Ranch Road 380 with US Highway 83 in the central county and has a total area of ​​4.3 km² without any significant water surface.
