Pakhribas ( Nepali पाख्रीवास ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Dhankuta district .

Pakhribas borders the district capital Dhankuta in the southeast . The city was created at the end of 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Phalate , Ghorlikharka , Muga , Pakhribas and Sanne . The urban area covers 110.8 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Pakhribas had 17,949 inhabitants (8,160 men) in 4,019 households.
