history

Pal Zileri's origins go back to 1970 when Gruppo Forall, a group of Venetian textile traders, decided to get into textile production. The Pal Zileri label was only founded in 1980 by Gianfranco Barizza and Aronne Miola. In the eighties, the brand entered into various collaborations with established Italian fashion labels such as Soprani, Verri and Trussardi . In the nineties, the expansion policy was pushed forward, whereby, in contrast to many other Italian outfitters, jobs were not relocated to low-wage countries, but remained in Veneto. Since 2000, Pal Zileri has continuously increased its sales, mainly thanks to a strengthened store network (2008: 140 million euros). In addition, the range of offers has been expanded and differentiated. In addition to tailor-made suits , shoes and belts , pens, umbrellas , watches and perfumes are offered and precisely coordinated to achieve a so-called total look . These changes went hand in hand with the creation of new lines. Pal Zileri operates mainly from its headquarters in Quinto Vicentino . From there, the brand has established itself in over 70 countries.
