Pampulha (Portuguese: Região Administrativa da Pampulha) is a district of the Brazilian metropolis Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais .

In 1943 Oscar Niemeyer built the São Francisco Church ( Igreja São Francisco na Pampulha ) - Pampulha is also the name of Oscar Niemeyer's first creative period, which lasted until 1943. The ensemble of modernity in Pampulha has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since July 2016.

The Estádio Mineirão and Pampulha Airport , which exclusively serve national destinations, are also located in this district .
