The Paquine is a river in France that runs in the Normandy region . It rises near the hamlet of Le Bois Guillaume in the municipality of Drucourt , from where it runs about nine kilometers underground and provides a drying bed on the surface that is only filled when there is heavy rainfall. Normally the water only comes to light in the extreme southeast of the municipality of Fumichon in a karst spring ( 49 ° 9 ′ 19 ″  N , 0 ° 23 ′ 7 ″  E ). The Paquine first drains in a northerly direction, then turns to the west and after a total of 25 kilometers flows into the Touques as a right tributary in the municipality of Ouilly-le-Vicomte . On its way, the Paquine crosses the Eure and Calvados departments .
