The Parbig ( Russian Па́рбиг ) is the left source river of the Ob tributary Chaya in the Russian Oblast of Tomsk in western Siberia .
The Parbig rises in the marshes of the Wassjuganje . From there it flows in a northeasterly direction. It finally unites with the Bakshar to form the chaya . The Parbig has a length of 320 km. It drains an area of 9180 km². Parbig has floods from April to June . Parbig is covered with ice from late October / early November to late April / early May. The mean discharge 21 km above the mouth is 29 m³ / s.
