The Parker Hill is a 135 m high hill on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It rises immediately east of Lake Cowan in the eastern part of the Vestfold Mountains .
Participants in a campaign as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions , who were housed at Davis Station , set up an anemometer here in 1969 . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the hill after Desmond Arthur Aloysius Parker (* 1921), who was working as a doctor at Davis Station that year.
