The Parmelee Massif is a rugged and 1250  m high massif on the Black Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises to the west of the base of the Imshaug Peninsula at the head of the Lehrke Inlet .

The United States Geological Survey mapped the massif in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 1976 after the US-American biologist David Freeland Parmelee (1924-1998), who as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program on board icebreakers between In 1972 and 1975 three campaigns carried out ornithological studies in the area of ​​the Antarctic Peninsula.
