Election results

In the local elections of May 2007, the party was able to obtain the necessary signatures in most of the cities where elections were held. On average, the PCL received 0.76% of the vote. Specific results are as follows:

In the parliamentary elections in April 2008 , the party received a moderate but encouraging result, according to the party spokesman, with 0.57% (208,394 votes) for the Chamber of Deputies and 0.55% (180,454 votes) for the Senate . The party is not represented in both chambers due to the threshold clause and the lack of an electoral alliance.
