Pascal Auberson (born April 21, 1952 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss singer , percussionist and pianist .

Life

Pascal Auberson studied percussion with Kenny Clarke in Paris and completed classical training at the Conservatoire de Genève with Pierre Métral (percussion) and Henri Chaix ( piano ). In 1972 he began his professional career as a percussionist in the Orchester de la Suisse Romande . He also worked in jazz, for example as a pianist in François Lindemann's project “Piano Seven” (together with Brigitte Meyer), and as a chanson singer. He won first prize in the Chanson Française category at the Spa Festival . Tours have taken him to numerous European countries as well as to Africa and China . He played in the Paris Olympia and the Théâtre de la Ville as well as in many television programs. He recorded over a dozen albums for various labels including Sonopresse , Plainisphare and Polydor .
