Pascal Bader (born September 24, 1982 ) in Solothurn is a Swiss footballer who has been playing for FC Sursee since 2018 .

Career

Bader played in defense at FC Luzern, although he was also used as a striker at his previous club, FC Solothurn . This amazing fact can be explained by his height and the strength of his head. He spent his youth at FC Lommiswil before moving to FC Bellach. His traditional position as a junior was a striker.

Bader has played in Lucerne since 2005. After a season in the Challenge League (Bader: 30 games, 3 goals), FCL was promoted to the Axpo Super League . In the current season Bader has made 27 appearances and 3 goals. He can play in all positions. This season he played as a defender as well as a midfielder and he was also successful as a striker. Since the beginning of the 08/09 season he has been a member of the VfR Aalen squad and made 27 appearances in the third division . At the end of the season, however, the VfR occupied 19th of 20 places in the table and was relegated to the Regionalliga Süd . Since his contract with VfR was only valid for the second and third division, he was temporarily without a club.

For the 2009/10 season, he and Michael Stegmayer , a team-mate at VfR Aalen, joined the Liechtenstein capital club FC Vaduz in the Challenge League (2nd Swiss league).
