Pascal Feindouno (born February 27, 1981 in Conakry ) is a former Guinean football player . The offensive all-rounder is the record player and record scorer of the Guinean national soccer team .

Career

In his youth, the striker , who is also comfortable in attacking midfield , played for the Hirondelles de Guinée and CIK Conakry in his home country of Guinea . In 1995 Feindouno moved to the youth department of Girondins Bordeaux after a fruitless attempt at RC Lens .

For the 1997/98 season, the Guinean signed his first professional contract with Girondins . In the following season he completed three games and scored one goal. In the summer of 2001, the offensive man was loaned to FC Lorient after a total of 28 games (2 goals) for Bordeaux . Feindouno became a regular player there and came up with 30 appearances (6 goals) . After this season he returned to Girondins and became a fixture there too. By 2004 he had completed 66 games and scored eight times.

At the beginning of the 2004/05 season Feindouno was awarded again; he moved to AS Saint-Etienne . In his first year he played there 36 times and scored 13 goals. Thereupon it was decided in Saint-Etienne to commit the player further.

At the end of September 2008 Feindouno moved to Qatar , to Al-Sadd, for seven million euros . He signed a three-year contract. In February 2011, he ended his adventure in the desert and returned to France, where he signed a contract with AS Monaco . In August 2011 he was signed by FC Sion .

For the 2012/13 season, his move to the Turkish first division club Sanica Boru Elazığspor was announced.

National team

Pascal Feindouno is an important part of the Guinean national team . In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup , he played ten times and scored three goals. However, his country did not qualify.

Private life

His younger brothers Simon Feindouno (* 1985) and Benjamin Feindouno (* 1983) also play football and have international matches for their home country of Guinea. Simon played for Istres in Ligue 2 and as a first division professional in the United Arab Emirates . Benjamin played a game in Ligue 2 for AS Beauvais Oise and developed over the years to scorer of the third Championnat de France Amateur , currently he plays for ES La Tranche Côte de Lumière in the division Supérieure Régionale Ligue Atlantique et Maine (7th division in France).
