Paskalewo [ pɐsˈkalɛvo ] ( Bulgarian Паскалево ) is a village in northeastern Bulgaria , in the Dobrich Oblast , in the Dobrich municipality.
The village is about ten kilometers from Dobrich. The old Turkish name of the village is Ezi Bey (bulg. Ези бей).
economy
The largest Bulgarian military airfield was located in Paskalevo as an important location in the north-east region of the country. This is orphaned today. According to the Bulgarian member of parliament, Yasen Pinchev, a German company is prepared to invest ten million euros in modernizing and redesignating the airport. This would benefit the town's economic upturn. The village itself still has dairy farming , pig breeding and other agricultural production operations.
Infrastructure
A school, a kindergarten, a polyclinic and a library are available to the local population. The numerous cafes and shops are of interest to visitors. A natural park can be considered worth seeing.
