Paskovac ( Serbian-Cyrillic : Пасковац) is a village in the Opština Loznica (municipality Loznica) in western Serbia .
geography
Paskovac is located in the Opština Loznica , in the Okrug Mačva in north-western central Serbia , in the historical region of Jadar , which is part of the Serbian- Bosnian border region Podrinje , named after the Drina river .
The village is located at the foot of the Gučevo Mountains , surrounded by many hills, two of which are called Ribarsko brdo and Kulište . There is the village forest , which used to be owned by the residents and is now state property.
Some of the farmers have their fields in Lozničko Polje . The climate in the village is continental .
Paskovac is a scattered settlement consisting of the village parts ( hamlets ): Poljani, Pejići, Stevanovići, Pureševići, Radulovići, Stankovići, Đunići, Jevtići and Budimlje.
The village is located southeast of the municipality capital Loznica. The neighboring villages of Paskovac are: Tršić , Voćnjak , Trbušnica and Zajača .
Waters
The village is spread over the valleys and hills of several smaller rivers . These rivers are called: Štira , Šermetovica and Mlakva . The two streams: Krivi Potok and Duboki Potok also flow through Paskovac.
population
The place had 609 inhabitants at the 2011 census, compared to 702 inhabitants in 2002. According to the last three population statistics, the population of Paskovac continues to fall. In 2012, however, six babies were born in Paskovac.
The inhabitants of the village are Serbs . But there are also two Montenegrins and one Croat living in Paskovac.

Infrastructure
Since 1950 Paskovac has owned the village elementary school Vuk S. Karadžić , named after the Serbian language reformer Vuk Stefanović Karadžić . In the village, a monument stands for the civilian casualties and the like Tito - partisans from the Second World War .
Paskovac also has a house belonging to the local community (Mesna zajednica). Some of the villagers work in the nearby mine, in the neighboring village of Zajača. Otherwise the villagers live from agriculture and animal husbandry.
religion
Almost without exception, the population is committed to the Serbian Orthodox Church . Paskovac does not have its own church , but has a village cemetery. The Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Manastir Tronoša is not far from the village .
