Pat Pryce

Pat Pryce (actually Patricia Anne Pryce, née Nutting; born January 4, 1942 in the London Borough of Brent ) is a former British hurdler and long jumper .

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, she was eliminated from the 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run.

In 1962 she failed at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade over 80 m hurdles in the first round. At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth , she was fourth in the 80 m hurdles and seventh in the long jump.

Two years later she reached the semifinals at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo over 80 m hurdles .

In 1966 she was fifth in the 60 m hurdles at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston , but did not get past the lead at the European Championships in Budapest . Also at the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 she knocked out over 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run.

She was English champion over 80 m hurdles three times (1963, 1964, 1968), twice over 100 m hurdles (1963, 1964; with 76.2 cm high hurdles) and three times over 200 m hurdles (1961–1963). In 1963 she became the English indoor champion over 60 yard hurdles.
