Pataçan i Poshtëm ( Albanian also Pataçani i Poshtëm or Potoçan / ii Poshtëm , Serbian Доње Поточане Donje Potočane ) is a village in the Rahovec municipality in Kosovo .

It is located about three kilometers west of Rahovec . Other neighboring towns are in the north Pataçan i Epërm , west Sapniq and south Fortesa .

During the Kosovo War, Pataçan i Poshtëm was shelled by Serbian forces on September 6, 1998, killing a 50-year-old woman and wounding her 13-year-old son. They then ransacked the village and set houses on fire.

In the 2011 census, Pataçan i Poshtëm recorded 1,077 inhabitants, all of whom (100%) are Albanians .
