Ranjit meets a pretty girl in a collision. At the wedding of a mutual friend he meets the beauty again - her name is Sharda. He asks her father for her hand and both of them tie the knot.
Eight years later: The family idyll seems perfect. Ranjit is a father and is promoted to work. Nevertheless, he starts a relationship with his secretary Nirmala. After many alleged overtime and lies, Sharda finally gets behind the affair. She is about to get a divorce. She just doesn't want to tear the family apart for their son.
Nirmala quits her job after learning the truth too. Ranjit regrets his mistakes. He is put to the test again when the new handsome secretary Nita introduces herself to him. Finally, he hears the voice of his conscience and takes it up as a warning so as not to repeat the mistakes made.
