Patrice Vermette

Patrice Bricault-Vermette (* 1970 in Montreal ) is a Canadian production designer and art director .

Life

As an art director, Vermette has worked in almost 500 television commercials and more than 40 music videos, including a. for Metallica and Shania Twain . He won numerous prizes for his advertising campaigns, including a silver lion in 2000 and a gold lion at the 2007 Cannes International Advertising Festival .

In 1998 he was working for director Jean-Marc Vallée on the short film Les mots magiques . In 2005 the two worked together again for CRAZY - Verrücktes Leben . For his work on this film, Vermette received the Canadian film prizes Genie Award and Prix ​​Jutra in the category Best Art Direction as well as a prize at the Gijón International Film Festival .
