Patricio Julián Rodríguez (born May 4, 1990 in Quilmes ), called Pato Rodríguez or Patito Rodríguez , is an Argentine football player . The midfielder was most recently under contract with Moreirense FC .

Career

Rodríguez began his career in the youth of CA Independiente and moved up there in 2008 in the professional squad. In 2010 he won the Copa Sudamericana with the club . In 2012 he moved to FC Santos in the Brazilian Série A , with whom he won the Recopa Sudamericana in the same year . In the 2013/14 season he was awarded to Estudiantes de La Plata . In March 2015 he was awarded to Johor Darul Ta'zim FC in Malaysia until November 2015 , with whom he won the Malaysian championship . After returning to Santos, Rodríguez won the São Paulo state championship with the club .

For the 2016/17 season , Rodríguez moved to the Greek first division club AEK Athens , with whom he signed a two-year contract. In January 2018, the Newcastle United Jets signed him until the end of the season. From August 2018 to June 2019, Rodríguez played for Moreirense FC .
