Patrick Bowes-Lyon
Patrick Bowes-Lyon (born March 5, 1863 in Belgravia , Middlesex , † October 5, 1946 in Westerham , Kent ) was a British tennis player from England .
Career
In 1887 he won the men's doubles competition at the Wimbledon Championships with his compatriot, the British Herbert Wilberforce . They defeated Herbert Crispe and E. Barratt-Smith in three sets 7: 5, 6: 3, 6: 2.
He was an uncle of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon , mother of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.
