Patrick Joseph Ryan

Patrick Joseph Ryan (also known as Henri Plisson , born February 17, 1934 in Omaha , Nebraska , † August 21, 2006 in Escondido ) was an American painter.

Life

Ryan graduated from the University of Nebraska and the University of Southern California .

After a two-year stay in Mallorca in the 1970s , he became known with his first major exhibition in Los Angeles . He became a sought-after artist with Hollywood stars like Rock Hudson, Katharine Ross, Aaron Spelling, Gabe Kaplan, Mary Tyler Moore, Nancy Sinatra and Gene Kelly.

After switching from abstract painting to Impressionist painting style, he adopted the artist name Henri Plisson .
