Patrick Jovanovic (born December 17, 1973 in Vienna as Provoslav Jovanovic) is a former Austrian football player on the position of defender . Until October 2014 he was a player-coach at SC Kirchberg / Pielach in the Lower Austrian 2nd class Alpine Foreland, where he and his team were champions in the 2013/2014 season.
Career
Jovanovic began his career at SK Rapid Wien , where he played a total of 121 times in the championship, 11 times in the ÖFB Cup and 12 times in the European Cup. In 1998 he moved to also in the Austrian Bundesliga playing SC Austria Lustenau , where he remained for two seasons long. At the end of the 1999/2000 season he left the bottom of the table Lustenau and signed on with FC Kärnten , with whom he was first division champion and ÖFB Cup winner the following season. Further stations were the SC / ESV Parndorf , the Kremser SC , the SV Horn , the ASV Vösendorf , the Wiener Viktoria and the SC Au / Leitha, before he became a coach at SC Kirchberg / Pielach in 2011.
