At the age of 17, Njambe left his home in 2004 and joined Borussia Dortmund's A youth team. A year later he was accepted by the second BVB team. According to his coach Theo Schneider , he plans to open a football school in his home country Cameroon. For the 2010/11 season, Njambe moved to the 6th division for KFC Uerdingen 05 and signed a two-year contract. In 2012/13 he played for Westfalia Rhynern in the Oberliga Westfalen for a year before joining the regional division SC Wiedenbrück in the summer of 2013 .
