Patrick Obermüller (born February 17, 1999 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Obermüller started his career at SC Klosterneuburg in 1912 . For the 2011/12 season he joined the youth team at SK Rapid Wien , where he would later play in the academy.

In November 2016 he made his debut for the Rapid Amateurs in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up against FCM Traiskirchen on matchday 14 of the 2016/17 season . In that game he was sent off after two yellow cards in the 72nd minute. In October 2017 he scored his first goal in the Regionalliga against FC Stadlau .

In May 2019, Obermüller made his debut for the Rapid professionals in the Bundesliga , without even having been in the squad , when he was in the starting line-up against SCR Altach on matchday 32 of the 2018/19 season and in the 69th minute was replaced by Mario Sonnleitner .

For the 2019/20 season he was awarded to TSV Hartberg . After four appearances for the Styrians, he was awarded to the second division club SV Ried in February 2020 . By the end of the loan, he made eleven appearances for Ried in the 2nd division . With the Upper Austrians, he was promoted to the Bundesliga as a second division champion.

National team

Obermüller played for the first time for an Austrian national youth team in February 2015. In October 2016 he made his debut against Ukraine for the Austrian U-18 team , for which he played five games until April 2017. He made his first appearance for the U-19 team against Norway in August 2017 .

In March 2019 he played against Norway for the U-20 team for the first time .
