Mario Sonnleitner (born October 8, 1986 in Vorau ) is an Austrian football player on the position of defender . Since the 2010/11 season he has been playing for SK Rapid Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga .
Career
Sonnleitner began his football career at SV Grambach in Styria. In 2000 he switched to the youth team of the Grazer AK (GAK). He was defensive player because he is a so-called in the youth team as a striker Chancentod was that the coach was converted, as Sonnleitner in a newspaper interview on the occasion of his first Bundesliga gate from the 30th October 2005 at the derby against city rivals Sturm Graz said. On April 26, 2010 it was announced that Sonnleitner will be moving to SK Rapid Wien at the start of the 2010/11 season, after Sturm Graz had been leaving for some time.
He mainly plays in the position of central defender, but occasionally also plays as a right defender.
