Paul Gobara (born March 26, 2000 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Gobara started his career at SK Rapid Vienna . At Rapid he also came to the academy for the 2014/15 season, where he went through all age groups. For the 2018/19 season he moved into the squad of amateurs in Vienna. He made his debut in the regional league in September 2018 when he started against SC Neusiedl am See on matchday eight of that season . By the end of the season he made eight appearances in the regional league. In March 2020 he scored his first goal in the third highest division in a 2-2 draw against Neusiedl.

In June 2020 he made his debut for the professionals in the Bundesliga when he came on as a substitute for Filip Stojković on matchday 28 of the 2019/20 season against TSV Hartberg in the 80th minute .

National team

Gobara played for an Austrian national youth team for the first time in February 2015. In October 2016 he made his debut against England for the U-17 team . For this he came to four assignments until March 2017.

Between September 2017 and March 2018 he played seven times for the U-18 selection . In August 2018 he played his only game for the U-19 team against Cyprus .
