Dalibor Velimirovic (born February 13, 2001 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Velimirovic began his career at SC Columbia Floridsdorf . For the 2011/12 season he joined the youth team at FK Austria Wien . After half a year with Austria, he returned to Columbia Floridsdorf in January 2012. For the 2015/16 season he came to the SK Rapid Vienna Academy .

In May 2018 he made his debut for Rapid's amateurs in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Julian Krenn on matchday 34 of the 2017/18 season against SKU Amstetten in the 89th minute . In the 2018/19 season he made six appearances for the amateurs.

In September 2019, he made his debut for the professionals in the Bundesliga when he was in the starting line-up against FK Austria Wien on matchday six of the 2019/20 season. In October 2019 he received a professional contract that ran until June 2022.

National team

Velimirovic played for the first time for an Austrian national youth team in June 2017. In September 2018 he made his debut against Romania for the U-18 selection . In September 2019 he played for the U-19 team for the first time against Latvia .
