Patrick Ofner (born on May 6, 1993 in Klagenfurt ) is a former Austrian tennis player .

Athletic career

Patrick Ofner had the highest ITF Junior Ranking of 10, achieved on May 23, 2011. At the end of 2011, he finished the year as number ten in the ranking. In 2011 he took part in all four Junior Grand Slams . At the end of the year he reached the final of the Orange Bowl , where he was defeated by Dominic Thiem in the purely Austrian final .

Overall, he was able to win two future titles in singles (2012 in Innsbruck and 2013 in Seefeld in Tyrol ) and one future title in doubles (2014 in Telfs ). His best finish in an individual of ATP - world ranking reached Ofner with location 520 on August 5, 2013; in doubles it was listed highest in July 2014 with rank 843. In 2017 he was last listed in the world rankings.

For Austria, he took part in the Universiade in Gwangju in 2015 and in Taipei in 2017 . Both times he was defeated in the second round. At the European University Games (EUSA-Games) he and his team won the silver medal for the University of Innsbruck in Zagreb in 2016 and the gold medal in Coimbra in 2018 . In 2017 he and his team won the bronze medal at the EUSA Championships in Madrid , also for the University of Innsbruck.

In 2017, 2018 and 2019 he was Austrian national champion in doubles.
