Patrick Schulz (born September 30, 1988 in Magdeburg ) is a German handball goalkeeper . The 1.96 m tall goalkeeper has been with HG Saarlouis since 2014 .

Career

Patrick Schulz began playing handball at TuS Magdeburg in 1995 , was initially a field player and only took up the goalkeeping position two years later. A stopover in his youth was the Fermersleber SV 1895 . Between 2005 and 2007 Schulz played for SG Eintracht Glinde in the Regionalliga Nord. From the 2007/08 season, the former junior international was in goal for SC Magdeburg YoungsterS and was part of the SC Magdeburg squad .

In 2009 Patrick Schulz became world champion with the German junior national team.

From 2011 to the end of the 2013 season he played for Eintracht Hildesheim . He was then without a contract for a few months until he joined the third division club SG LVB Leipzig in December 2013 . In the summer of 2014 he moved back to the 2nd handball league for HG Saarlouis , where he signed a two-year contract.
