Patrik Lichý (born September 22, 1992 ) is a former Slovak ski jumper .

Career

Lichý, who starts for the SK Kartik Banská Bystrica , made his international debut in August 2008 as part of the FIS Cup . However, he remained in his first jumping without great success. At the Junior World Championships in 2009 in Štrbské Pleso he started in singles, but was disqualified. A year later, after another unsuccessful season in the FIS Cup, he started at the 2010 Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten and reached 42nd place. In July 2010, Lichý made it into the points for the first time in Villach . Less than two weeks later, he achieved his first top 10 result.

In September 2010 Lichý made his debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup , but remained without points in both competitions in Almaty . At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Otepää , he jumped to 49th place. From February 2011 he moved permanently to the Continental Cup squad, but remained without points until the end of the 2010/11 season and in the summer of 2011. Also in the 2011/12 season he remained far behind the points and ended up mostly only far behind in the rear places.

In the Junior World Championships in 2012 in Erzurum , he repeated his performance from last year and jumped again number 49. Despite also subsequently streaky and unsuccessful jump, he was in February 2013 for the Slovak squad for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme . In both individual competitions, however, he missed the qualification and was finally rated 51st on the normal and 52nd on the large hill.

For the 2013/13 season Lichý moved again to the FIS Cup and immediately reached a top 20 placement in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm .
