Patrizikirche Hollenegg
The Roman Catholic patrician church of Hollenegg is located in the cadastral community of Neuberg in the town of Hollenegg in the market town of Schwanberg in the Deutschlandsberg district in Styria . The branch church consecrated to St. Patrizius belongs to the dean's office in Deutschlandsberg in the Graz-Seckau diocese . The church is a listed building .
history
The branch church was built in 1777 with the master builder of the castle church ( Hollenegg parish church ) while preserving the segment apse of an older church .
architecture
The church has a well-articulated three-axis facade with inclined double pilasters and a cornice and parapet above. The facade tower with a tent roof stands on the sloping gable.
The interior of the church shows itself with strongly protruding pillars and a surrounding cornice under a square vault. The longitudinal oval space has a transversely rectangular gallery yoke in front of it.
Furnishing
The painted altar prospect is in the style of the painter Philipp Carl Laubmann . The rococo tabernacle was built around 1700, the simple pulpit was built at the same time. The two side altars are from the end of the 19th century.
The organ around 1800 - presumably by the organ builder Franz Xaver Schwarz (?) - was transferred here from the Wolfgangikirche Hollenegg .
