The Mae Nam Pattani (Thai: แม่น้ำ ปัตตานี , "Pattani River") is a river in the southern region of Thailand .
It rises in the district ( Amphoe ) Betong in the province Yala and flows into the district Mueang Pattani in the Gulf of Thailand . The river has a total length of 214 kilometers.
With a catchment area of 3296 km² and an average water volume of 5 m³ / s or 2743 km³ per year, the Maenam Pattani is the second largest river in southern Thailand after the Mae Nam Tapi .
