Paul Doll

Paul Doll (born July 31, 1915 in Offenbach am Main ; † August 26, 2003 in Bad Wimpfen ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( SPD ).

Life

From 1929 on, Doll completed an administrative training course at the Offenbach District Office , passed both administrative exams and then embarked on a career as a civil servant. He took part in World War II as a soldier , most recently as a captain in the air force . From 1948 to 1956 he worked as an administrative inspector at the Offenbach city administration, where he was head of the city council office. Furthermore, from 1962 to 1990 he was a member or chairman of the supervisory board of Gemeinschaftshilfe Heilbronn eG.

Doll joined the SPD and was chairman of the SPD district association Heilbronn until 1970. From 1956 to 1976 he was, with a re-election in 1963, mayor of Bad Wimpfen . In addition, he was a member of the district council of the Heilbronn district and from 1959 to 1973 chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. He belonged to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from August 1, 1963, when he replaced the late MP Fritz Köhler , until 1972. In parliament he represented the direct mandate of the constituency Heilbronn-Land II , which he defended in the state elections in 1964 and 1968 .

His hobby was poultry breeding including the occupation with chicken breeds , their emergence and breeding developments. As a book author, he has passed on his knowledge in numerous books about the publishers Eugen Ulmer and Oertel & Spörer. Doll was among other things Honorary Master of the Federation of German Racial Poultry Breeders (BDRG) and also a member of the Presidium of the Federation.

Paul Doll was married and had two children.
