Landtag constituency Heilbronn-Land II

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Heilbronn-Land II constituency (constituency 13) was a state electoral district in Baden-Württemberg . It existed under this name and number from the state elections in 1956 to the state elections in 1972 . Also in the elections for the constitutional state assembly in 1952 , which was constituted as the first state parliament in 1953, there was an electoral district in the state of Württemberg-Baden with the name Heilbronn-Land II, which bore the number 18. There has been a constituency of Eppingen with the number 19 since the state elections in 1976 .

The constituency comprised roughly the southwestern part of what was then the district of Heilbronn and in 1952 consisted of the communities Abstatt , Auenstein , Beilstein , Biberach , Bonfeld , Botenheim , Brackenheim , Cleebronn , Dürrenzimmern , Eibensbach , Flein , Frankenbach , Frauenzimmern , Fürfeld , Gronau , Großgartach , Güglingen , Haberschlacht , Hausen an der Zaber , Horkheim , Ilsfeld , Kirchhausen , Kleingartach , Klingenberg , Lauffen am Neckar , Leonbronn , Massenbach , Massenbachhausen , Meimsheim , Michelbach am Heuchelberg , Neckarwestheim , Neipperg , Niederhofen , Nordhausen , Nordheim , Obereisesheim , Ochsenburg , Pfaffenhofen , Schluchtern , Schmidhausen , Schozach , Schwaigern , Stetten am Heuchelberg , Stockheim , Talheim , Untereisesheim , Untergruppenbach , Unterheinriet , Weiler an der Zaber and Zaberfeld . From the state elections in 1956 , the town of Bad Wimpfen , which had moved to the Heilbronn district, was added.

In the state elections on April 23, 1972, some of these communities were already incorporated into others or had merged due to the ongoing community reform. Klingenberg was incorporated into the city of Heilbronn and thus belonged to the Heilbronn-Stadt state electoral district , Gronau belonged to Oberstenfeld and thus to the Ludwigsburg II constituency.

From 1946 to 1952 there was an electoral district of Heilbronn in Württemberg-Baden , which included the city of Heilbronn and the entire district of Heilbronn and sent several MPs.

Elections and MPs 1952 to 1972

In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg, each voter has only one vote, which is used to determine both the direct candidate and the total number of seats of a party in the state parliament . There are no state or district lists; instead, in order to establish the equalization of proportions, inferior constituency applicants are assigned second mandates . The regulation, which was valid until the 2006 election, provided for these mandates to be allocated according to the absolute number of votes at the level of the administrative districts. In the elections for the national constitutional assembly in 1952, there were no second mandates, but state supplementary lists.

The constituency Heilbronn-Land II was represented by the following members in the state parliament from 1952 to 1976:

Political party Type of mandate Elected
SPD Fritz Koehler 1952
SPD First mandate Fritz Köhler 1956, 1960, † December 20, 1962
