Emil Feucht

Emil Feucht (born May 11, 1910 in Eibensbach ; † March 25, 2000 in Brackenheim ) was a German businessman and politician ( FDP / DVP ). From 1964 to 1972 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

Life

Feucht was a Protestant denomination and the son of a farmer who died in 1915. He had four siblings.

After attending elementary school , he completed a commercial apprenticeship at the Eibensbach company Wilhelm Layher from 1924 to 1927 . From 1927 to 1929 he worked as an accountant at the Büdowerk chemical factory in Schwenningen .

From April 1929 he worked at the Lauffen cement plant, initially as an accountant, where he became commercial director in July 1958. From 1937 to 1945 he worked at the Heilbronn electricity works, a sister company of the Lauffen cement works.

During the Second World War Feucht was an infantryman in France and Russia , was wounded three times, received the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd class and the silver wound badge . Until the end of August 1945 he was in English captivity .

In Lauffen am Neckar he was a member of the local council from 1959 to 1965 , was deputy mayor and chairman of the supervisory board of the Lauffener Bank. From 1959 he was also a member of the district council of the Heilbronn district . From 1964 to 1972 Feucht represented the constituency Heilbronn-Land II in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg through a second mandate .

Feucht was an apparatus gymnast and chairman of the TV Lauffen a. N., from 1959 also chairman of the Turngau Heilbronn. He was married and had two children.

Awards

In 1985 Emil Feucht was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Medal of Merit.
