Paul Frühauf
Paul Hugo Frühauf (born May 2, 1862 in Cologne , † June 23, 1916 in Karlsruhe ) was a German lawyer and politician .
Life
Born the son of a postal director, Frühauf studied law in Berlin , Munich and Heidelberg after attending grammar schools in Sigmaringen and Schwäbisch Hall . During his studies in 1881 he became a member of the Arminia Munich fraternity . After the two legal exams in 1884 and 1889, he became a lawyer in Bruchsal and from 1890 in Karlsruhe. He was a co-founder of the Free People's Party in Baden and later belonged to the Progressive People's Party . He ran for the Reichstag several timesand was from 1901 to 1908 a member of the Baden state parliament for the Karlsruhe constituency . From 1893 to 1916 he was a member of the citizens' committee in Karlsruhe.
