Paul Fromme

Paul Fromme (born August 17, 1855 in Hameln , † 1929 in Hildesheim ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Paul Pious studied at the University of Goettingen law . In 1875 he became a member of the Corps Brunsviga Göttingen .

After completing his studies, Fromme was a court trainee in Hameln, Goslar and Hanover from 1877 to 1889. In 1880 Fromme entered the Prussian civil service, was a government trainee at the Landdrostei Hanover and in 1883 became a government assessor with the Bromberg government . From 1886 to 1898 he was district administrator of the Dill district . In 1898 Fromme became police director and in 1899 police director of the Aachen district . A year later, in 1900, he was appointed senior president of the Kassel government.

From 1904 to 1919 Fromme District President of the administrative district Hildesheim . He was appointed to the Real Secret Upper Government Council. He lived in Hildesheim until his death .

In the Reichstag election in 1890 , he ran for the DRP in the Reichstag constituency Wiesbaden 5 , but could not prevail against Gustav Kauffmann ( DFP ) with 42.1% .
