Paul Günter

Paul Günter (born May 30, 1943 in Bern ; legal resident in Aarwangen ) is a Swiss politician ( LdU , SP ).

Life

After graduating from high school, he studied medicine in his birthplace at the University of Bern and completed it in 1969 with the state examination. Günter was the chief physician at the Interlaken Hospital . From 1972 to 1979 he was the LdU Grand Councilor of the Canton of Bern . From 1979 to 1991 he was national councilor for the LdU, after his non-re-election in 1991 he left the state ring. From the 1995 to 2007 elections , he was then a member of the SP National Council. Günter is also Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of the Friends of Radio BeO .

He is married and lives in Därligen .
