Paul Herman (born March 29, 1946 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor who is best known for his portrayal of shady guys.

Life

Paul Herman, born in Brooklyn in 1946, appeared in supporting roles in well-known films such as Once Upon a Time in America , On Short Distance , Crazy Heart , Silver Linings and Reine Nervensache 2 . In the successful series The Sopranos he played the supporting role of Peter "Beansie" Gaeta. In the Martin Scorsese films The Color of Money , Good Fellas - Three Decades in the Mafia and Casino , he played small supporting roles or an extra role. In Crazy Heart , Herman played manager of Jack Greene ( Jeff Bridges ) a burned-out singer. He was the owner of the Columbus Cafe together with Mikhail Baryshnikov . It was on Columbus Avenue near Lincoln Center.
