Paul Ibscher
Paul Ibscher (born October 9, 1910 in Berlin ; † May 3, 1983 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Paul Ibscher attended an elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a case maker . He joined the SPD in 1928 and from 1929 worked as a bicycle messenger for the “ Vorwärts ” publishing house. After the “ seizure of power ” by the National Socialists , he worked as a packer at Siemens and was illegally active against the Nazi regime, and was temporarily in custody. Ibscher was approved by the Wehrmacht confiscated and then fell into captivity .
After the Second World War , Ibscher initially worked as a newspaper driver for the “ Telegraf ” and in 1949 switched to the Berlin Drainage Works . In 1952 he moved to the district assembly in the Kreuzberg district . In 1954 he was released from the staff council at the drainage works until he became a board member of the main staff council for the state of Berlin in 1969 . Since Eleonore Lipschitz became government director at the Senate of Berlin, Ibscher moved to the Berlin House of Representatives in February 1970 , to which he was a member until March 1971.
