Paul Mohr (politician)

Paul Mohr (born April 7, 1936 in Dössel ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he was a young worker and assistant at the Deutsche Bundesbahn and attended the Bundesbahnfachschule. In 1960 he passed the special examination for talented students and then studied at the Paderborn University of Education . After the first and second state exams , he worked in the school service.

In 1969 Mohr became a member of the CDU. He was active in numerous party bodies.

Mandates

In the ninth electoral term, on September 28, 1983, he entered the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia via his party's reserve list . In the tenth and eleventh electoral terms he was elected from the state list of his party and remained a member of parliament until May 31, 1995. In the twelfth electoral term, he moved up again on February 20, 1998 via the reserve list.

Since 1975 he has been a member of the city council of Warburg and was mayor from 1989 to 1999.

He was also a member of the Höxter district council from 1975 to 1989 .
