Paul Rüster

Paul Georg Karl Julius Rüster (born July 3, 1897 in Bad Reinerz , district Glatz , province Silesia , † after 1946 ) was a German businessman and botanist .

Life

Paul Rüster was a son of the businessman Georg Rüster and his wife Adele, née Argelander. From 1903 he attended the Realgymnasium am Zwinger in Breslau and finally from Easter 1914 the Reform-Realgymnasium in Löwenberg , where he passed the war maturity examination in August 1914 . Rüster first became a businessman and then, interrupted by military service, studied from the winter semester 1915/16 to the winter semester 1918/19 at the Technical University in Wroclaw.

On February 4, 1919, he moved to the Schlesische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Breslau , where he was able to take part in the teaching excursions of the Dr. Paul Schottländer Foundation in 1919 and 1920 .

On November 30, 1921 Paul elm was at the High philosophical faculty of the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Breslau in Ferdinand Albin Pax with his dissertation on the subalpine Moore of the giant mountain ridge to Dr. phil. PhD .

Paul Rüster later worked at the University of Breslau and was still a member of the teaching staff of the University of Wroclaw after the end of the war under Polish administration.

From 1920 Paul Rüster was a member and later secretary of the Section for Horticulture and Horticulture of the Silesian Society for Patriotic Culture and was admitted to the Leopoldina on May 31, 1922 ( matriculation no. 3473 ) .
