Paul Rachbauer

Paul Rachbauer (born September 28, 1948 in Dornbirn , † September 25, 2014 in Lochau ) was an Austrian ethnologist and sociologist .

Rachbauer studied ethnology and sociology at the University of Innsbruck and became a member of the K. Ö. HV Leopoldina Innsbruck . He was an assistant and lecturer at the university. He later worked in the culture department of the Vorarlberg state government in Bregenz, including looking after the state's museums. Rachbauer was chairman of the Vorarlberg costume association.
