Paul Rieth
Paul Rieth (born June 16, 1871 in Pößneck , Thuringia, † May 15, 1925 in Munich ) was a painter and draftsman . Paul Rieth was characterized by his portrayal of the glamorous social life in Germany at the beginning of the 20th century.
Rieth studied since October 28, 1864 at the Munich Art Academy in the sculpture class of Max von Widnmann , later he was a student of Ludwig von Löfftz and then under Klaus Meyer in Karlsruhe . Rieth was a main contributor to the Münchner Jugend -Zeitschrift and also drew for This sheet belongs to the housewife from Ullstein Verlag .
Part of his work is now in the graphic collection of the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and is managed by the Museum of the University of Tübingen MUT .
