Paul Schomann

Paul Schomann (born June 30, 1951 in Ochtrup ) is a German former football coach . Schomann was the first national coach of the German national futsal team .

Career

Schomann was a soccer player with Arminia Ochtrup , whose chair he is today. He later became a trainer and in 1979 he obtained his license as a soccer teacher , with which he worked in the youth field of the Soccer and Athletics Association of Westphalia . In 2001 Schomann moved to the DFB and took over the U-15 national team . Schomann later coached the U-16 and U-17 national teams . Schomann has dedicated himself to futsal since 2010 and was appointed the first national coach of the German national team in December 2015. At the beginning of February 2017, Schomann retired and handed over his position as coach to Marcel Loosveld.
